NFL inactive list, Browns vs. Ravens 2013: Bernard Pierce, Michael Oher both active Read
Oher left Week 1's loss to the Broncos with a knee injury. The Ravens' offensive line collapsed in his absence. Linebacker Arthur Jones is making his season debut after dealing with a virus near his heart for most of the preseason. Pierce has been dealing with a thigh issue throughout practice this week. The Browns boast a relatively healthy squad, although they will be without defensive lineman Ahtya Rubin again. Rubin suffered a calf injury in last week's practice and missed Week 1. There is no timetable for his return. Billy Winn will continue to get the start at left end. Here is the complete list of inactive players. Baltimore Ravens WR Jacoby Jones, NT Brandon Williams, WR Deonte Thompson, OL Ryan Jensen, DE DeAngelo Tyson, G Jah Reid, RB Shaun Draughn. Cleveland Browns DE Ahtyba Rubin, QB Brian Hoyer, TE MarQueis Gray, OT Martin Wallace, OG Shawn Lauvao, DE Armonty Bryant LB Paul Hazel.
Bengals think they've added enough playmakers
CINCINNATI (AP) -- By drafting NFL Lines a tight end with sure hands and a running back with a knack for catching passes, the Bengals think they've given their offense what it's most lacking.
Cincinnati took tight end Tyler Eifert in the first round and running back Giovani Bernard in the second. Their top two draft picks were dedicated to giving the offense more playmakers.
That's where they were lacking last year, when they reached the playoffs as a wild card for the second straight season. They wound up losing to Houston in the first round for the second straight season as well. Nobody aside from receiver A.J. Green was consistently productive in the big games.
Quarterback Andy Dalton says there shouldn't be any excuses this season.
